Public Garden selfishness
After yesterday's 10k humpday, which ended up being 7 miles and a "racing" am with all those folks, I opted to run earlier so I can be in my quiet alone space.
Today I went back over to MIT and memorial drive. Today, I was there at 5:15am and it was already 74 degrees out. The beauty of the morning was lack of seeing runners, bikers, and walkers. I switched up my route andran down BeaconStreet toward the Public Gardens. AsIran I was greeted by the beautiful and fragrant flowers along the street.
I could take in all the beauty- just me. As I started on my way back to memorial I crossed over to the Charles Esplanade. Then I saw the people. Not as many as yesterday but folks were out running.
I'm wondering if this is the "normal" regular thing. This is not my normal route, so I don't know the cultural habits of runners in this area.
