Runners and geese
July 3rd! Because of the 4th the Boston Charles River Esplanade was buzzed for getting ready for fireworks and the Boston Pops. There was security, food tents, pot-o-potty, signs, public sunscreen. I even saw 5 people already camping out to get ready for the big event. Since this was the calm before the storm, I thought 4 miles along the Esplanade would be a good way to kick off Tuesday.
Before 6 a.m. there were runners, bikers, dog walkers, and geese. Lots of geese. Before it got too hot, I wanted to take in the beauty and be mindful of my surroundings. Hence more running photos than normal.
I've said this before, the runners were not racially diverse. I was the only black person( wait, I did see a black male running). I saw running. I saw Asian/ African-American men and women running ( 5) and and older Asian couple walking but that was it. I did see a women walking who had a prosthetic leg doing her thing. Other than that, not so much diverse running/walking space.
Oh the things you notice while running
