As summer starts to wind down, I'm excited because I'll be back on the 5:15am Cal-Zone schedule with my morning crew. Because of summer vacations and work schedule we switched to 6am. With the time switch,  I try to run before a Monday or Wednesday morning class.

Today I ran down a different side of Broadway. I couldn't fully explore it because I didn't want to miss class. When I ran back to the CZ the ladies told me they knew I was coming to class, because saw my parked car and knew I was "running around someplace". :).

I was so happy to see the ladies. I hadn't been there in over a week. This morning was conditioning club. 10 stations, 3 rounds. We worked every muscle and every part of our body. Sometimes we do tabata, stacking, or bodyshred. I really appreciate how all this core and strength training has changed my body. It's added so much to my running and overall well being.

A double bonus..besides the sweat and unholy sounds sometime.....I found a great bunch of women and a place with such amazing energy, motivation, and support.  They range in ages, sizes, abilities, locations, situations but we are all in the same place for the same reason.  Really that is what it is all about. Finding that place and people that makes you happy and encourages you.
