Saturday Pond walk
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
The rain last night cooled things off a bit this morning for my pond run. There was still some overcast and it was strangely quiet for 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday. I’ll take it. I started to walk the 2 mile loop and it was just me walking alone for a while. After a mile, I started to pass by some dog walkers and groups of fisher folks with their poles in the pond. I could see my stalkers but I couldn’t hear them. They were quiet too. This morning was a really nice walk. I had a good increased stride. The weather was perfect and my music was right. Near the end of my walk, I did see more runners. When I checked my watch it was a little after 7a.m. I guess that is the right running time. If I didn’t have work to do I could have walked around the pond again.
Next week I’ll increase the walking mileage. This is still week one of post surgery recovery. What a major difference a week makes.
