Deer Island Tuesday
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Today is day four of the heat wave. It’s still hot. Normally this would be “Tiffany Track Tuesday” but it’s hot and I need to be by the water. Did I mention it was hot? Already it is 75 degrees and it’s not even 6 a.m. yet. I already walked on Revere Beach and I needed a mix of scenery. Staying close in the area, I went to Deer Island. I know the island is 2.6 miles around. I could walk it and be by the water.
Later today, it is going to reach 99 degrees out. That may have explained all the bikers and walkers I saw by 6 a.m. this morning. Ideally, my thought of having the island to myself was clearly mistaken. As I powered walked, the breeze off the water was great but I was still sweating.
Over all a a good morning walk on the island
I was moving my legs a bit faster than last week.
