Not Irish but I'm lucky

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

There will be no St. Patrick’s day Parade, again this year. Normally this would be a 10k a.m. humpday but that’s not happening either. Boston is full of Irish things. My plan was to walk through the Public Gardens because the ducklings would be all Irish-upped. My walking theme was a scavenger hunt of all Irish things. I did see a person dressed in green and white to go running, a man walking a kilt, thou not Irish but close enough. Shamrocks and Irish theme bars a plenty. The crown of the walk was the Irish memorial near downtown crossing, which describes the hardships and victories of the Irish immigrants that came to Boston.

It was good to walk through downtown crossing and government center. I won’t lie, I was disappointed that the ducks were not dressed up. I found out later, they did get all St. Patty’s day dressed up but it happened later on in the morning.
