Current events and local, national, and global issues are always on my mind and intersect while I run. The separation of families, treatment of brown and dark skinned immigrates are a reality. Living in a neighborhood that is over 56% latino shapes who I see and the community dynamics of my run and living. Seeing this mural of immigrate women said in all. No need to say more.
