Urban Bison running

Urban Bison running

I got back into Boston around 7pm last night after Saturday's 13.1. Surprisingly, I felt good running this morning. The hills and dirt of West Montana's trail conditioned me for a really good and fast pace this morning. As I was running, I had a new perspective towards running in my gentrified urban city of east Boston compared to the space and openness of Bozeman and West Yellowstone.

Open and wide natural spaces compared to water views and tightness. I got a bit annoyed with the cars and buses of the morning rush, when I didn't have to deal with that for the last couple of days. At the same time, I missed the smell of the ocean water and not being land locked. There is beauty and danger with both spaces. I guess it's about knowing how to navigate and apprenciate both of the spaces.

This morning I truly ran on 4 miles of pavement and not dirt. I still was able to have my Montana bison with me in my urban space

While running back in this urban space, I saw a men playing soccer at 5:30a.m. That was a first time for me .
