Crossing Bridges and running a 10k

Crossing Bridges and running a 10k

There was no way I could do a 10k a.m. humpday yesterday. After Cardio Bootcamp on Tuesday I met a colleague for drinks at 8:30pm. There were 2 other people who I hadn't seen in a while. The four of us recapped, hung out, and after appetizers, a vodka and soda and a bottle of wine later( $20 for a whole bottle- we shared) , it was midnight. By the time I got home and ready for bed it was 12:30am. Clearly there was no getting up and running at 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

Today, was my 10k humpday make up session.  It felt like another fall a.m. morning. I made sure to get my assets on the pavement. To mix things up I run a reverse route to my normal route. I was crossing bridges left and right. Because sometimes you have no other choice but to cross a bridge if you want to get over on the other side.

6.14 miles later bridges got crossed and task was completed.
