Post Nor'Easter 10 miler
Friday the Nor'easter came and brought the wind and torrential down pours. Flooding, trees falling down, school cancellations, electricity going out, and who knows what else. This morning after the storm was gone I thought It would be ok to go for my 10 mile long run. While I was running it was a path of destruction. Fences were down, heads of plastic yard animals were torn off, mud and rocks from the flooding by the ocean were on the road. And lets not forgot the wind. The wind was still blowing strong. It felt like I was in resistance training.
To my surprise someone had left a toilet out on the sidewalk. I don't think it would have fallen from somewhere but who knows? It's nice to see it on a long run because that's when you have the shits sometimes. Some a.m. comedy while hitting the pavement
