10k am Friday: Beauty, quiet, and peace
Since I didn't do the 10k am humpday, I had to find a way to get my 10k in before the end of the week. Friday may be the new 10k am day. Since I didn't have to go into the office, I drove to Castle Island for my run. It had been a while since I got a chance to run around the harbor.
Because Fall is coming andits still dark. I had a treat ofrunning this am with the moon and moonlight. I can't begin to explain the quiet, beauty, and peacefulness of the am. For a while it was just me. Well, me and the skunk hanging out on the beach.
As light started to come, then I saw other runners, mostly women running the path from Castle Island to Carson Beach. Besides people going to work there were folks participating in group workouts as well as homeless peoplesleeping on the beach. I'm glad the weather is still pleasant becausewe do not know what kind of winter we are going to have.
For me, it felt good to release the stress and craziness of yesterday and start the day off on a good note
