First Day of the New Semester

It's officially here. The first day of the start of the AY2017-2018 school year. Since today is the first day I knew it was essential that run this morning. Meetings, students, more meeting, more students, and training a new administrative assistant. Whew. 

Running for me has always been about emotional and mental health, the physical benefits has beenbonus. With the man in the white house, that woman assecretary of education, andhavinga new president with no academic background will make for a busy year.

Thisam I was able to put 4 miles on the pavement. To get myself ready for the day and week.

New Season

This morning was dark and busy. I ran with my headlight on. I haven't seen so many cars and people walking before 5:30am in a long time. I'll correct myself. I haven't seen so many white people walking and going to work in a long time, so early. Normally I see Latino people who are going to work early or it is the construction men.

This new season is changing a lot of the am morning dynamics.... Here we go.....
