Almost Shitty
Saturday I was focused on a long run. Since we had a long weekendI wanted to mix up my running route. I drove over to MIT and my plan was to run 10 miles from the Cambridge andBoston sideof the Charles River. Today the temperature wasgoing to be in the high 40s, low 50s once again.
As usual, on this side of the river, I saw a lot of folks out running. Nice weather just adds to the amount of runners. And I only saw one black women running along the Charles.
As I got around mile 6, mystomach felt weird. It was the same feeling I had when I had took a shit on myself on father's day of last year.
My stomach felt the same way. I stopped and then started to run. The movement made me feel that I had to go to the bathroom. I had to stop running and start walking.
There was no way I could make 10 miles today. I just had to get to a bathroom. This time I was at least on a campus with restrooms compared to last time where I was in my neighborhood and it was early and I had no place to go.
Again...what didI eat last night?! I realized I had a lot of carbs. No protein, no fruits or veggies. Lots of pasta, red sauce, 2 coffees, a muffin. Bad, bad, bad nutrition on my part.
