Pause-Sail-Regroup Friday

Thank you God! It's Friday. I kept thinking or maybe wishing Friday was here 2 days ago. :).

Now that Fall is here, its time to transition into fall running gear, darker am runs, more reflective materials, andtrying to go to bed early. Since Fridays are my "Research Days", I wanted to take my time running and not be so rushed.

This morning I drove to Deer Island, which I frequent often. I needed a change of scenery especially after this week of shoots in Tulsa- Terence Crutcher and Charlotte- Keith Lamont Scott and the amount of ignorant and racist comments being made by politicians, media, and people in general.

Running by the water, smelling, the ocean, seeing the purple/pink sky was my moment to pause. You have to find the strength and energy to power through and keep going.

Eventually, you'll see the rainbow in the end

And that is what I'm going to do.
