Black Friday = Run Friday
The day after and all is quiet. Ironically it's 45 degrees out, foggy, and quiet today. I drove over to MIT so I could run along Storrow drive to get a long run in. Next Friday I'll be flying off to run in state #21 so I still have to get my runs in.
Today It was peaceful to run alongthe Charlies river with the foggy Boston skyline in the background. I wasn't sure if people were still in bed, away visiting, hungover, or shopping. I felt asif I hadthe city to myself. Besides a handful of men I saw running(5), it was just me.
I noticed many things this morning. Two homeless men that were sleeping and trying to keep warm and the sign I saw a bridge that said "Fuck Trump" and the other " Cool Trump". Ithought about what kindof country will be become now. I wondered how many morehomelessmenandwomen will I start seeing on my run.
How many more signs of protest or joy will I see. Thanksgiving was a good time to be with family and friends but now the work has to resume.
