Rain or Sleet on a Thursday
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
I’m tired. This weekend is the BAA half marathon. Yesterday was a long day. That was Wednesday, today is Thursday. I thought about getting up early and running a 10k. Sometimes my thoughts do not turn into action. It’s cold and drizzly out. I need to put some miles on my legs. Around 6:15a.m. I ran out of the house. Beverly is expecting our morning Thursday call at 7a.m. I need to make sure to get those 3 miles in before I call her at 7a.m.
Slow, strong, and steady. I kept things local around the water front with my miles. Around mile 2, I felt something on my face. Was it rain? Was it sleet? Was it hail? It was hard, cold, and coming down fast.
3.09 miles; 33:37; 10:52 pace. I didn’t take as many pictures as I normally would have. I was on a time deadline. 7a.m. where ever I am, I need to call Beverly.
It felt good to be out putting miles on my legs.
