8.18 humpday

Why the heck not. 8.18 miles for 8/1/2018. August is here. For me that means summer is over and the academic  school year has started. This means the back to schools commercials have already started. The count down to college and professional football season is in the air as well. Heck there are five more months left until the end of the year.

But I go on. To mark the start of the month a ran along the Charles River in Cambridge and Boston. While I was running this morning I noticed that there were a lot of men running in the a.m. At least for a good six miles it was the men( of various ages and shirts off) and me. Oh the a.m. bikers and rowers in the water. In the 8.18 miles I saw only one black woman. She was older and acknowledge me with a hi.  Later on as it got lighter, I saw more woman out. The men were out in full force this morning.
