This is how we end Spring 2018
The last humpday and day of spring 2018! I'm thankful that it's 58 degrees before 6am because its going to be a hot one today! Of course I ended the season with a 10k humpday run along the mystic river. While running in nature, nature did not attack me and I could enjoy all 6 miles.
There was a geese gang and I made sure to run on the grass away from them. Geese I found are some mean SOBs. I passed them and saw bees, bees. I can't remember the last time I saw bees. They were in and out of their flowers and doing that " bee- dance". There were flies, ducks, swans, and a black squirrel. Yup, nature.
You would never know I was running parallel to I-93 North among all this nature. Then I saw the sign to I-95 and 125. Technically, I could run to I-95 and 125, I've done the mileage before. I had the will but it wasn't happening this day, the last day of spring, also known as summer's eve. lol
