Marathon Inspired

Back running in Boston. My body hates me a bit. We just left the 61 degree a.m. weather of New Orleans to trade up( down) to the brisk and windy 32 degrees of a spring Boston, ugh. After 24 hours  of rest and hydration( I got back into town Saturday morning(2am) my body is feeling a bit better.

I'm proud that I was able to run 11 miles in NOLA considering I was there conferencing and all the adult beverages, food, and extreme socializing that went on. I was thinking this morning that I am a runner that " keeps it realz". I wonder if that is the normal make-up of runners or is it just me?

I wanted to do 10 miles for a Sunday long run. I did a proud 3 miles instead. This morning I ran along the Boston Marathon route because the next time I'll be downtown all the runners would have taken over. This was the quiet before the storm.
